Our Materials

Gold Filled

Gold filled is built from two layers mechanically bonded together: gold (5%) and jeweler’s brass (95%). Because the gold is mechanically bonded to the base metal rather than plated, it won’t rub off, and it carries 100x more gold than gold plated pieces.

Gold filled resists tarnish and is ideal for everyday wear; you can hit the gym, shower and sleep in it. It’s hypoallergenic too, which makes it a great choice for sensitive skin.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% silver by weight and 7.5% other metals by weight, usually copper.

Sterling silver may tarnish when left exposed to air, so we suggest keeping it in a sealed zip bag whenever you’re not wearing it. Getting it wet and wearing it often actually helps keep tarnish away.
